- Public library
The Hazeldean Banch of the Ottawa Public Library is our nearest library, at 50 Castlefrank, about 10-15 minutes drive. Coming from downtown Ottawa, the Centennial Branch is conveniently located at 3870 Old Richmond Rd. There is also an Ottawa Public Library bookmobile service at the nearby Eva James Community Centre.

A good online hub with information about National Capital parks and pathways. This web page also includes a link to a regional cycling path map, although we recommend you get the printed version at cycle shops. Greater Ottawa-Gatineau is a cycling and walking paradise. Starting in our own neighbourhood, you can cycle through much of Ottawa-Gatineau almost entirely on pathways, often forested and usually paved.

Check out the nearby sign-posted trails and nature centres in the forests of the Ottawa Greenbelt. Use this web page to find information about nearby Stony Swamp and other areas. All paths are good for walking, and many for skiing and cycling. Try out the interactive trail map here.

- Bridlewood Community Association
The Bridlewood Community Association serves the residents of Bridlewood, Emerald Meadows and Monahan Landing, including the residents of Pine Hill Estates. All residents of Bridlewood are regular members of the association and, by contributing an annual fee of $10.00 per household, residents become supporting members.
- Kanata Seniors Council
The Kanata Seniors Council is a not-for-profit charitable organization looking after the interests of the older adult and seniors' communities of Kanata and West Ottawa.

- Cardelrec Recreation Complex Goulbourn

- Eva James Community Centre
City of Ottawa recreation centre a short walk away or a five-minute drive. Address: 65 Stonehaven. PH: 613-271-0712. Offers a wide variety of adult and seniors fitness programs, plus dance, badminton, yoga and much more.
- Kanata Seniors Centre
The Kanata Seniors Centre, a facility provided by the City of Ottawa, is located behind the Mlacak Centre and Beaverbrook Branch Library, with its own separate accessible entrance. Address: 2500 Campeau Drive. Phone: 613-580-2980. The Centre provides a place for a number of activities and programs provided by the City of Ottawa, the Kanata Seniors Council, the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre and other outside agencies.
